I think this day had the most amazing weather throughout the whole cruise. A gorgeous day for exploring the small island of Lifou, Loyalty Islands.
While about 90% of the cruise passengers sunbaked and snorkelled (including all my friends) I took time out and walked the island. At the top of a clif stood a chapel, which is mostly empty and rundown but the view was amazing. Even in Australia I have not seen water an incredible electric blue like it was there and no photo could really do i justice.
Beautiful local children around the island while their mothers doing all the tourists hair (might I take a moment to express my hatred for corn rows - not a fan of things everyone does on mass, but thats just me).
Then it was back to the boat for more food, cocktails, food and a few more cocktails. And did I say a bit more food?
