A friend of mine Randa and her pal Kirsten were going to be in France for a month this August so I promised I would meet them in the south of France when they got there. Thankfully that worked in perfectly for when I was already due to have a week off work. So for a change it was a direct FlyBe flight from Jersey to Nice & I was on the beach in the sunshine with the girls. It is going to be a great week.

Nice is full of fat rich people (many of them Russian) it turns out but there is sun & there is the beach & there is the grotesque cheetah that became known as "the meeting cheetah". An odd gift shop that was between our two hotels. Each day we would meet there before setting off to explore.
