Okay, left Sucre and its chololate, and have arrived in potosi wit its silver. Much better.
Potosi is also the highest citie in the world, nice little villiage, but a little cold.
We booked our mining trip also with one English guy called Nick, met him in Santa Cruz been hanging with us since then, and prepared for that, its cold so you have to wrap up but inside its bloody hot. What to wear!
Woke up nice and early, got picked up and taken to the shop where we donned our lovely minning suits. Overalls, Masks, helmets, lamps and wellies. Off we set.
Stopping by in the main minning vlliage they showed us where the miners buy coca leaves (for energy and to keep hunger away) dynomite(for blowing stuff up) and 96% alcohol for partying. It doesnt give them a hangover but tastes appserlutly desgusing. I nearly through up but dave was okay.
We then veured inside for a few hours, it was brilliant, the minner men work for 8 hours solid shoveling rocks, but are sill really happy. Why, i dont know. They do earn a very good wage tho, even compared to English wage.
Whilst on the tour, Nick our follower me a German called Jurgan, he has dreads and is a legand. So now there is a foursome, making shit. Excuse my french, its a german saying meaning have fun.
Foursome, off to Uyuni, home to the worlds largest salt plains.
