Our first leg of the journey started in rio, off to a flying start too. Got off the plane, missed our free hostel pickup, couldn't work the pay phones to call them and didn't speak a word of Portuguese to get help.
Jumped in a cab and made it tho, safe and sound.
Rio is amazing, we are here just in time for the carnival so its constant street parties, wahey. Hostel is awesome to, (el misti) excellent staff and atmosphere.
After the partying in the evenings, we did actually make it out to the sites, Christ, Sugar loaf and copocabana beach. All amazing.
After a week or so here we have decided it is a little expensive and we have seen the sites, and so we are setting off for some more amazing locations. Foz de Iguazu. The Brazilian side of the waterfalls.
