Oh wow. Words cannot describe the impact this city has had on the children. First of all we arrive at the airport and after clearing baggage our tour guide takes us outside to the busses and guess what – its sleeting. Well if this impresses the children then the genuine snow surely will. We then drove through the streets of this incredible city at 3:30pm in almost darkness. The Christmas lights line the streets and the sleet is falling – everything looks like fairy land. Then we arrive at the Holy Cross Church for our performance with the South African Embassy. Oh my, the cathedral is very impressive and of course the sound just simply fantastic – even if we didn't have time to warm up. We then got back into the busses and went for supper – FANTASTIC. Now we are eventually at the hotel and hopefully everyone is in bed. One very long day down and loads more exciting days to come. Everyone is well – a few tired faces but all in good spirit.

Sy moet elke oomblik geniet. Geluk met jou verjaarsdag gister Trudie hoop jy het 'n wonderlike dag gehad en mag jy nog vele jare van geluk ervaar.

PS. Sê vir Yolanda ek gaan haar CD van die koor "deur" luister voordat sy terug is, dit help met die verlange en die CD is AMAZING.

Whoa!!! And a pic of my girl singing in that lovely church! Please keep all the photos. I am so greatfull this is possible, it makes all the weeks of living off spaghetti and peanutbutter sandwiches worthwhile. I'm starting to save up for the next one NOW.
