Yesterday after going out til 5 am the night before, my friend wakes me up at 10 am and says lets go. Im like SHIT I didnt even feel like I closed my eyes for 5 minutes before he wakes me .
Im lucky just to have put my shoes on because we always are in a rush to do something ...... What?........ I never seem to know. I didnt even have time to brush my teeth.... Nasty... I know.
So his friend picks us up and we start driving and the whole time I think we are heading to a Folkloric dance but that wasnt the case. We pick up two more people and have a full boat. Picture this........ the country side with lush green rolling hills Listening to Romanian music, Gypsies music (there are a lot them in this country), pop music, trying to understand the conversations in Romanian, sunny day, windows down, the open road, not having a clue where you are going but I didnt care . To me I dont know if it gets any better than that.
Im going to take a guess and say that Im going to lose 4 pounds for me which is a lot. We never seem to have time to eat. Thats what I love to do and Im being deprived of it.
We finally reach our destination (3 -4 hours) and it was Dracula's Castle, where I paid to do a haunted house. Why do people like to be scared? IM glad I used the bathroom before I entered.
Checked out another castle but this time we were drinking in the car (legal) and then checked out Brasov, a city rich in history and the outdoor cafes that lined the streets with the snow capped mountains in the background...... priceless.... plus the wine was really cheap. \
When I thougt we were finally going home at 9 or 10 pm we head to the lookout point of the city. F#$% they just keep outdoing themselves. Drove 3 to 4 hours back home and I slept the majority of it. When I woke up I apparently had felt comfortable enough to lay down in the back seat while there still were people. Try to picture that one .
I cant express what Im really feeling.
Fidias has been more than a good host he has made this trip for me hands down.
Im about to talk a well deserved shower and then guess what. WE are taking a train to the west part of the country.... Timisoara and then Im off to Croatia. I think......

What's up J, my boy John said he met up with you in Budapest. I trust he was a proper host, pretty cool guy. So what did you think of my Subway?
If you're going to Croatia make sure to hit Split and Dubrovnik. Did you get to go to Turkey yet?
There is a chance that I will be over in the area so I will try to coordinate with you.
