After a sad farewell from my new friends in Kayenta, I headed towards Tuba City on for a breakfast stop an hour after I ate breakfast.
I was the only white guy in this restaurant and it took me back to the days of Ecuador.  I sparked up a conversation with a local and he was telling me that many cyclist have ridden his "roads" and while he was saying that two cyclists with trailers rode right on by the cafe.  I love the small talk with the locals.

Keep in mind there really was nothing for miles on end, just a lot of desert with a few scattered homes on the Navajo Reservation.

But every chance I had to eat , I took advantage.  I notice I eat about every two hours.

Made it to Tuba City where I will be meeting a friend (Tony from Timbers).  Staying at a campground within Comfort Inn.  The worst looking campground yet but hey free hot chocolate and internet, cant beat that.

Butt Cream
Did you try that previously suggested butt cream? You could try Zim's Crack cream. Supposedly for cracked hands and feet, may work elsewhere. Envy you the sights and even just the experience. Proud of ya! Auntie Sue
