14 dollars to stay at the State Park and just pitch your tent.  Doesnt that seem like a little much?  It doesnt matter because it was beautiful and I met some great people.

Fruita is a great little town that has amazing bike riding.

I spent a few hours at "Over the Edge" bike shop, changing the tubes and asking a lot of questions.  I think they closed early just to get me out of there.

From there I went fishing, no luck.  Thats when all the fun began.  A gentleman walks up to me and introduces himself (Rick), apparently I have not been in the states for awhile or I just dont know how campsites work.  Here is this gentleman just trying to know his neighbors and then Rick introduces me to my other neighbors, who are a couple that are riding their bikes from Alaska to South America.

From there we all go out to the local Pizza shop.  2 dollar drafts, live music and a lot of food ---Great combo!  I felt like a local after only being there for 4 hours.  It doesnt matter if you know the people when you walk into the pizza place because you surely will be friends when you walk out.  I love the small town feel. There is something truly special about places like this.

After the pizza joint, I rode my bike back to the campsite in about 32 degree weather but it didnt matter because I was on cloud 9.  Iwatched the end of the game at Rick and Vicki's sweet ass, heated, lazy boy'd, 37'' t.v. RV.  If you didnt understand that last sentence , it meant that I really liked the place.  Only bad news to this night....... the Phillies beat the Rays.

Went back to my tent and froze my butt off, not that bad but there was definitely a lot of ice.
