Today I hung out with the characters from Tricks yet again. First I met up with Seth and his lover, Loren again. I still cannot believe Loren is going to be a man of religion. And Seth is just going to have to live with that? I think not. I saw Seth cry over Loren's leaving. It is so sad. And when I ran into them at the gay bar, I couldn't help but feel for him. So many of those men were staring at him as if they new Loren would soon be gone and he'd be all alone to fend for himself. I empathize with Seth very much. I had to feel the pain of my boyfriend leaving for Greece for a month.
I met up with Whitney soon after. She told me all about her crazy afternoon with Lucas. He came over to her house when she was alone and they did cocaine together. She even knew it was wrong and didn't even want to do it at first. But she did. I can't help but worry that Lucas is going to consume her and then leave her heartbroken. He even took her virginity when they were flying high. That is so disrespectful in so many ways. This girl is going to have some serious issues in the future.
When I got together with Ginger, I learned and saw a whole new side of her. One of her mom's previous boyfriends had raped her when she was young. I had a feeling something like that had happened to her. I want to punch Iris, her mother, in the face so bad. She is such a drunk and she does not give two shits about the damage she is doing to her family. Hell I've seen Sandy, Ginger's little brother, in the hospital more than she has! I barely even know the kid. But Iris is too busy bringing home new men. And oh man when Ginger finally stood up to him, I busted out laughing. That girl just might end up okay one day. She's gaining more confidence in herself and she's learning to explore herself and the world aside from the bullshit with her mother. She told her friend Alex about the guy who raped her and Alex was so comforting to her. I saw them kiss and I was surprised and yet not at the same time. Ginger has dealt with so much and has been hurt so badly that I sort of do not blame her for experimenting with her sexuality. I just hope she knows what she's doing and that she doesn't have to feel any more unnecessary pain.
I barely talked to Cody. I understand he's going through a rough time what with his step father having cancer and all, but his drinking, gambling, and drug use is getting out of hand. His little brother is even drinking and breaking into houses. Not only that, he still continues to use Ronnie for sex. I do not like Cody. I am merely an observer when it comes to him. I have no real desire to be in his life whatsoever.
Eden, however, is another story. Things went badly the other day with her and her family. She went over to her friend Shania's house the other day to work on some homework. I was hanging out with Shania's sister, Caitlyn, when we noticed Eden walking up the street. We followed her in  Caitlyn's car and saw her get in Andrew's car. I tried to prevent Caitlyn from doing what she did, but it was too late. She told Eden's parents. And when I saw the bruises on Eden's face afterward, I knew things had gone badly. Andrew promises to figure something out, but he needs to hurry because I think Eden's mom wants to do an exorcism on Eden...
