Where I stayed
Van Park here is one of the best. Sites are terraced so everyone has great views. Concrete slabs for van and annex. So good to have a clean site. Not walking dirt into the van. Parnkalla walk track passes through the van park. It starts inthe national park at Billy Light's point and goes all the way to North Shield. Must be 30Km. Great bike ride.
Haven't been feeling too good so decided to get my blood pressure checked. Quite high so doctor ordered a stress test. All test s came back perfect. Always knew I was. Increased my medication and I am feeling good again. Had to stay longer at Port Linc oln but plenty to see.
Whalers Way is a part of the national park that has been declared a historic reserve and you have to pay for a key to enter but I can tell you it is worth every penny. We never get over seeing the beauty of the South Australian coast. Corrugated dirt roads lead to so many different views. Vegetation is so beautiful. Sandy beaches, craggy cliffs. crevasses that go back meters under the cliffs, water that is so beautifully blue and clean. Waves actually breaking over the cliffs. Crevasses look like they have been cut with a saw. A blowholel that runs horizontally through 30m of rock. Even the erosion is spectacular.
Cape Wiles - magnificent. Smal landmasses that have been eroded from the mainland. We sat on top of the cliffs overlooking the rocky limestone formations and ate lunch. Suppposed to be fur seals but again they were out to lunch. Could have stayed all day.
What a great day we all had. They said allow 3 hrs - we took 6.
