Where I stayed
4th Aug
We left Cape Cod and headed south our next stop is Norwalk - The company I have joined are in Westport which is about 5 miles from Norwalk and we are popping in tomorrow. I am getting used to driving and we are spending most of our time driving and stopping at interesting places We stopped on the way at a store and I found some Rum Baba!! I've been looking for these since I was a kid when we used to steal em from the Co-op I worked at; me and Bob used to hide in the freezer and eat frozen Baba's - ahhh the good ole days.. When we got to Norwalk I hit the hotel pool and chilled with my book for bit and then went into the local shop which is a place called Stew Leonard's - it's like a Circus / shopping / sweet factory full of everything including flying stuffed animals and things the kids could press and make cow noises and such.. Mmmm I'm bringing Brown here later... and later we did and I got to press the cow Mooooooo. There is so much food and cake and such here its brilliant but no Babas.
When we got to Norwalk Inn Hotel I was fascinated by the spooky boarded-up house next door. The hotel was really nice and homely - the bed had a marshmallow mattress which you could just sink into. I enjoy buying little bits and pieces here and there - mostly things you don't get at home. I went down to get a stamp and met some of the hotel residents - coffin dodgers with lots of life left in em still - and they were very friendly, and enjoyed tellin tall tales.
5th Aug
The next day we went into My office and Brown took off to the pond or something while I chatted shop - There are Porsche, Mercs and Jags in the car park (I hope this is the shape of things to come) But I have to say I do like my Dodge too. They laid on lunch and we sat round chatting before Jason took us off to get a couple of maps as we walked he told us that a bar across the way did the best Margaritas in the world of everywhere he had been so we led him off that way on the way back (not that he needed leading much) They were served in Jam jars with salt round the edge and were divine but VERY poky.. Me and Brown were getting bleary eyed and ready for sleep while Jason I'm sure was thinking about another Jam jar. Once we left we had to go to Starbucks for a strong coffee and Brown was slurring her words we are such light weights chuckling away sipping coffee.
We did some more shopping and sight seeing and then went back to Stew Leonards for nibble top ups, Tomorrow we are planning to go into New York and then out with Austin and Sara from my work for a lovely steak
I don't remember anything after huge JAMJAR margherita :-))))))))))))

Comments
Hi, whats with the Propane cylinder, the last space shuttle already left, or is to hid that smill on your face !!!
We want to know what Helens comments were before she deleted them, something to do with "bone sucking sauce". no maybe not for coffin chasers ears. Take cdare. enjoy.
I think she just removed some pics actually :) We go two of those jars however they are sadly now empty.. The Propane is from a show called King of the Hill which I find funny.
We are having great fun and doing some miles in the car but its sooooo cheap around a 1000 miles so far on about £40 woohooo I'm getting a heafty 28 to the gallon too.
