Well the first week of our course is over and it has slowly got better, the first day was like a bomb exploding with so many task and achievements to make, but as we hit them one by one it became a little bit more achievable.
We took our first actual lesson on Wednesday and were really pleased with them, as with everything it is all in the planning but that is no easy thing believe me.

We went to see a band play on Friday night, it was Helens sisters, boyfriends, mothers brothers friend or some close relation like that, anyway turns out he lives in Phuket and once we had rang we were then invited down to a beach hotel in Rawai to watch his band play - while there we met some other farangs and did the mixing thing as well as that we bumped into Aili's teacher - everywhere you go the world just gets smaller eh?

Then on Saturday we met up with the lady Helen met in Tesco - it seems they run a studio so i spent the afternoon playing on his Drums, Bass and Guitar, it seems there is plenty of work out here for musicians and they know a number of people who are looking for others to gig with. I still am yet to buy a guitar but hopefully on Tuesday when the music shop opens that will be sorted out.

Sunday which is today we joined a local Gym/spa, it cost us 20 each for the month but we get half price spa treatments so will make that back in one treatment. (a means to an end) every other day we finish school at 12:30 so will get some time to use that and chill out while everyone else is at school or working.

We had two rain showers which consists of it spitting for 2 minutes while the Thai's run about screaming and diving for shelter while we look to the sky and smile - it last less than a minute and even then the sun does not stop shining, but watching the panic is quite amusing.

Hi all,
Not sure about the curved brown one ! Looks like your all having a good time and working hard, makes a change. Helen, used the feather dusters today ! Seemed to be something missing though. Must have been the singing helper. Sounds like you found the musicians corner. enjoy yourselves. More fish less pastries.
Take care
Mum, Dad + Wendy.

Hi All -
Wow its good to see so many people following us around. But I am sure you would all hate it here, all that lovely sunny weather the beaches, the cheap living the friendly people.. It can relly get annoying you know hheheheee...
Maybe we should have a family reunion somewhere in the middle.. say The Bahamas!! well middle(ish)
