The firt day at school today and it was great........ Most of the poeple we have already met around the pool or in the lobby of the hotel but some were new faces to us. There are 31 of us mostly Americans a couple of Australians and a few others from elsewhere.
There are 4 English and one Irish guy which I guess counts too.

The lessons went ok and we sat in on a class as well as gave speaches and introductions ourself, the course looks to be fairly heavy work and we do not get much time to ourselves but it is keeping us busy and will certainly get our brains working again.

I would think that mostly now my blogging will be less furious as we start to work and our time is filled with study and lesson plans.

Helen got offered a job teaching a child while we were in Tesco yesterday - and the womans husand is a drummer in a hotel here at the beach so we will be going over their house for dinner at some point and chewing the fat. Helen will maybe teach the girl for the four weeks or so while we are here and in exchange we shall be getting Thai lessons.

The weather is still great and the pool is a welcome sight after a hard days work.
Till soon Sawat-dee Krap

Jealous Mum
Hi Tony, Helen + Ailis,
The monkey looked nothing like Dad ! It was better !
Who was you dangling as bait for the croc's. Mum won't speak to you ever again unless you promise to bring the Tiger cub home in your luggage. Great shots. Sounds like your mixing well with everybody, especially the locals. Should we call you Ryan Giggs or Beckam. Don't mention Man U they just beat West Ham.(only 1 nil). Sounds like the school is going to keep you focused and busy, but I,m sure theres plenty of fun to come. Just to feel sorry for us its still snowing. We are really enjoying your blog. Take care. Love to all.
Mum + Dad.

Re: From Bev (cousin long lost)
Hi Bev,
How fantastic o hear from you - the toilet roll is at a premium here if we had brought a truck load we could have made a fortune selling it to the foreigners - we have so far blocked 3 toilets due to flushing the stuff and are hoping to get to 10 before we leave HEHEHEE..

We may well be out your way in the not too distant future so keep stoking that barbie and maybe we will see you all soon. x

Re: Jealous Mum
Ha,
You wouldn't think them so different if you saw the monkey eat a banana!!
You know I could bring a Tiger home bt Hey! why not come to the Tiger :-) I don't know if we mentioned it but we have a spare room..
We also found some better food spots and I am evern cooking for us here in a kettle we got in Tesco hahah honest its true - tonight we had spagetti, sausage and coffee.
Its not too bad!!
Was nice to chat on the phone, it is easier and cheaper now we have the Thai numbers.
Take care
T, H and A
