Where I stayed
Today we first ate breakfast at the most amazing Dayton pancake eatery called the Golden Nugget. There was a queue a mile long to even enter the place for a seat, but it was worth it! The hotcakes were melt in your mouth delicious, well worth the looping line.
From there, we drove out to Huffman Prairie. There are a couple of Wright brother exhibits there, as well as a narrated trail. We visited the hangar used by the brothers for their flying machines, as well as a catapult they built to get the flying contraptions into the air. It sure was cold as we ambled along the pathway, and we even saw a wild deer in the park! There was a firing range nearby and the constant sound of shots firing was a bit disconcerting, but the experience was informative and I don't regret the time spent, at all.
After Rob's performance, we ate with him at a local Chipotle eatery, where I tried and enjoyed the burrito bowl, and then we visited the upscale Dorothy Lane market to select a wine and dessert to bring to Rob's.
