Trip End
Jul 04, 2010
This is the part of the trip I like the least: coming home. This is where the magic ends and real life resumes. I will never forget all that Belgium taught me:
1. I didn't like beer before, and I don't like it now.
2. In politics, there aren't just a right and left, but there are so many shades of gray in the middle.
3. The darker the chocolate, the better.
4. High speed trains are amazing.
5. Legs are the perfect source of transportation, legs and a bike.
6. The best dining room in the world is the great outdoors, equipped with a table and umbrella.
7. Limoncello exists and it is delicious.
8. People are people, no matter where you go.
and there were so many other lessons I learned, but these I will cherish the most, the longest. Au revoir, Belgium! I will miss you greatly!
