Hey everyone, just thought that i would put an update online to let those of you that i haven't spoken to know that i am still alive and well down under. i guess it has been awhile since the last update, but there really isn't much to update.
a few weeks ago, i got off early on a sunday, so i made my way to Aussie stadium and watch yet another NRL game between those roosters again and the Bulldogs. it was a good game in which the bulldogs won. i don't know if it is the fact that i don't get to see any hockey, but i have really gotten into the rugby. i really like it.
Also, i went with a friend to go see Ice Age 2. it was really good, even better than the first one, i thought.
then, last weekend i went with Julie (my roommate) to see End of Fashion perform at the Metro. It is a really cool little venue about the size of movie theatre without the seats and a bar at the back. it was a really good show. if any of you have a chance to catch End of Fashion i would suggest doing so. they put on a pretty good show and their music is good too (so, check out there stuff).
this week i have been working still but have gone out with friends a few times to movies. we went to "two for the money" the other night (with al pacino and matthew mchonahy), yeah, i know i spelled their names wrong. it was pretty good, but then yesterday we went and saw mission impossible 3. it wasn't the greatest of movies, but it was a great action movie, intense from beginning to end.
i also got some really good news for me and some of you guys earlier this week. I was informed that as long as i complete an fruit pickin of packing for 3 months and apply for my second working holiday visa as soon as that is complete and that it is before my next birthday i can stay in australia for another year, so if you want to come visit, i'll be here probably, not NZ. i'll go visit there, but not live. so, the plan is now to stay in sydney til the end of june working out my 3 months, then head up to brissie for a week or two before going to pick or pack some fruits, more than likely in queensland. thats it for now, but next week is State of Orgin.
i can't wait. all is good and well here, hope all is well with all you guys too.
