Wow, what a crazy morning. I saw the Dalai Lama! As we were leaving the airport, he arrived with his monk posse around him. It was properly like: 'DING! And if you take a look out the left side of the plane, you'll see the Dalai Lama.'

Bonus, I got a window seat so I could see all the mountains. Beautiful. As we banked I could see a really big one to the north which I'd like to think was K2. Probably not, but I can hope. We flew over Spiti and you could just see how the mountains stop the clouds - they were all bunched up on the other side.
