Kenya Summary
Weren't all that impressed with Kenya to tell the truth. Maybe it was our nasty initiation, up in the north where corruption is rife and very visible. Our dislike was one of the reasons we decided to leave the safari until Tanzania. Maybe we would have liked Kenya more if we'd gone to the Mara, but then again, if the Mara is the only thing that would change our minds then that doesn't say much for the rest of Kenya. And we went to some pretty nice places; Kakamega, Mt Elgon (spoilt by the entrance fee argument). Maybe it was the food. After the delights of injera in Ethiopia, the ugali was just plain ugly. I've eaten it before (for 8 months in a South African charity organisation) but still. Not nice.
Useful Swahili
