After our quick foray into criminal life, HoseB and I decided it might be a good idea to make ourselves scarce and spend the night off the coast of Copacabana on Isla del Sol.  We got to the point where every woman we walked past looked like the psycho from the restaurant and it seemed like everyone in the town was looking at us thinking "It is those dodgy tourists who robbed the restaurant last night".

So we jumped on a boat for the, supposed, half hour boat ride to Isla del Sol.  Not sure who timed that trip last but we must have had the slowest boat in the harbour as the island never seemed to get any closer.  It took us an hour and a half.  South American timing kicks in again.

HoseB and I did have great plans to hike from the North part of the island to the South, but once we finally got there, plans changed and we decided to just chill out for the night on the South end of the island.

After a killer hill climb to the top, we finally saw why everyone raves about Isla del Sol.  Don't get me wrong, there was absolutely nothing to do there but that was the beauty of it.  As the sun went down, HoseB and I sat at a small table with a bottle of wine and looked out over the amazing Lake Titicaca out to the snow capped mountains.  Awesome.

I must say, if you happen to go to Isla del Sol at this time of year, make sure you take your thermals because once that sun goes down, it's freaking freezing.

Anyway, after stumbling up the hill to a restaurant in the near dark for dinner, and freezing our knackers off in our hostel for the night, HoseB and I hitched a boat back to the main land to continue our journey into Bolivia.

I have to run because the crazy Copacabana lady is trying to body slam HoseB.
