Still on Porto..and back to London..

Sunday we did more walking around, a long walk down the hill - but prettily it was through a park. Many side diversions as we took wrong paths and then (gasp) had to walk back up the hill again!!

We went on a ride on the tourist tram, then found something called (in portugese) a fun-something or other. Anyway the name of it started with fun, and it was a mini glassed carriage that held about 20 people and went on a train track up the hill. It was fun!

Porto is right on the water and so naturally we had to go to the other side, we walked across the bridge to the other side which was much more modern than the "old town" where we were staying. Suprising that hey!

All the breweries/wineries/porteries were on that side of the river and we were mobbed by people trying to make us take tours with a "free" glass of port, the tours had the free glass that is, not the mobbers.
