Adrian insisted we were getting on the right ferry (from Island Murano back to Venice) but we weren't.. and so we went on a side trip to the very pretty island of Burano.

Burano is supposed to be known for its lace, but not being a person so interested in lace, Burano becomes the Island of the pretty coloured houses for me..
