Natasha, Adrian and I stayed in a quiet little fishing village, Haugesund - a town that has a higher population of statues than residents it would seem. Everywhere we walked in this town was a statue, mostly of animals though we even found Marilyn Monroe, no doubt there for her close associations with the town.
Approaching a street in Haugesund meant every car within sight of you would slow to allow you to stop, no pedestrian crossings just a simple pedestrian has the right of way. That took a bit of getting used to.
