We made it to Paris! After a very interesting and slightly dangerous ride from Senlis, which involved Dave snapping his chain 5 miles outside Paris, running about 25 red lights in Paris, and Dave riding the last 200 metres on a flat front tyre, we made it down the Champs Elysees to Place de la Concorde and over the finish line.
We were very lucky as we had a large group of fans to meet us at the finish. The girls had wonderful t shirts congratulating us and we were presented with Champagne on arrival, which was v quickly sprayed over everyone! Photos have been uploaded with this entry!
After showering and cleaning ourselves up, we had a lovely evening in Paris. A meal at a very nice restaurant was a perfect way to end this epic adventure.
We are now all back into normal life at home, and I found it very weird not having to put on lycra and get on the bike this morning!
