We had a slow start to the day as it was a stopover day and the lady from the Capitainerie came round at 9.30 to collect the €10 for 2 nights which includes water and electric so not bad. No Wi-Fi but we had planned on going to the Orange shop to look at buying a dongle later.
John cooked breakfast, and then he replaced an engine water pipe that showed signs of perishing and failing with tell take cracks and some weeping. 1 bonus point he found the hot water tank with its faulty immersion heater, to be tested on another day. We had a general tidy and good clean and polish through Spring Tide and now she looks and feels better.
After lunch (French lunchtime) we went in to the town and to the Orange shop to get a dongle
Isi's back was playing up so John made dinner! Two meals in one day!!
We charged Mi-Fi and it worked, so simple, why couldn’t the other one have worked like this? We have emailed the person we bought it off on Amazon but they have not replied so now we will have to seriously chase them. Isi managed to publish the blog and newsletter from the boat which was wonderful. We do have to find out how to top it up online and to find out when it expires. We know we can top it up getting credit from a Tabac shop but then we have to phone a number and we are not that good at French! In the meantime John went for a wander and chat to our neighbours. Isi’s back has been playing up today so hope a good night’s sleep will do it good.
