Well, I have made it to Greece. As soon as i stepped off the train and saw the city my first thought was "back to civilisation", unfortunately that proved to be all too true. My hostel is in a very touristy part of the city, with high-class coffee bars everywhere. Naturally, this makes everything quite expensive, and i have already run over my daily budget. Kind of makes you miss communist hellholes...oh to live on 15$ a day again. Tomorrow i plan to leave for Litochoro, which is the small town at the base of Mt.Olympus, there are supposed to be shelters all up the mountain that have dorm facilities, so im going to stay on the mountain for a few days.

here i am, slogging through Bio 1115 and the such and then i come across ur entry! Kai, my dear, from now on i will be living through you! I've never been to Greece. Or Budapest. I feel so sheltered. and 15$ a a day? thats what coffee alon costs, haha. Hope ur having a fabulous time, meet some sexy Greeks. I don't know. are greeks sexy? anyways, have fun, and write soon!
