Today we boarded the Eurostar train for a day in London. The trip usually is 2 hours and 15 minutes nonstop to London, but we had a 25 minute delay as sadly someone jumped in front of the train before us and died. We had to wait until we could be rerouted.
Arrived in London and took a Red Bus Hop-On Hop-Off tour. This is the way to go! We go to all the highlights of London and if you are interested in the sight you "hop-off" the bus, look around, and another one comes by in 10 minutes for you to "hop-on." It was the coldest day in many years in London although compared to Minnesota or Wisconsin it was an average February day.
Spent the most time at Ripley's Believe it or Not which is the largest one in the world. They had extremely old exhibits and a new age laser challenge. Ran out of time in London to shop, but we did make it to Primark as recommended by Elsie's friend, but there must have been thousands of people in there and just like shopping on the day after Thanksgiving. Didn't buy anything since the line was at least 50 people long!!
