We finally made it to Quartzsite, we have been talking about it since before we left Michigan. It is beautiful, it is boondocking without services. Campers are usually 1,000 feet away from each other, there is lots of room for everyone. You can camp by your friends if you choose. There is another area south of town that has water and dump available but no hookups. They charge $40 for 2 weeks or $180 for the whole season. We don't think we have ever seen so many RV's.

The downside is that we are 2 months too late and it is way to cold for us. Too cold to sleep good. So we are leaving today and hope to be back someday in warmer weather.
