OK, so this weekend we (my housemate Nevin, my friend, Tanya, and I) went to the very beautiful and colonial town of Guanajuato. We went for the Cervantino Festival which is this annual festival that's celebrated here. I can't quite remember what for exactly, but every year they have exhibitions from a certain country. This year was Japan so there were Japanese exhibitions and dances and food etc. Other countries are also represented so there were dances from India, drama from Europe etc.
We spend most of the weekend soaking in the sights of this very pretty town. It was wonderful weather and we had loads to do. We went up the mountain to see the view, we did some shopping inn the cool markets, and saw loads of street artists, performers etc.
The whole atmosphere was cool and I certainly can see myself retiring there!
Anyway have a look at the piccies.
Next update....Jalisco!

Guanajuato
Amit,
I'm so glad you got to visit Guanajuato! It's my favorite city of all that I've been to in Mexico so far. Isn't it charming?! And the weather is gorgeous. When we were there we went to this really cool club/disco. It was so fun! I was so surprised that there would be a club like that in such a small, colonial town. Anyway, good to hear you're doing well. =)
Besos y abrazos,
Robyn
love the afro!
Amit-love your pictures and think you should definately consider an afro for your next ´do. I´m so glad you are having such a great time! Hope you make it down just a little farther south, say Santiago Chile?
The fro is sooo you!
Still making me laugh! Thanks for keeping us updated and in stitches. I'm so happy you're having a great time exploring. It was definitely worth your 'escape' from home. Take care and keep the log coming. Love ya! Jeannette
