O.K. so this update is long overdue but i've had reason! i.e no camera but I have friends who have cameras so I got piccies whoo hoo!

Anyhow, Mexico City, what can I say. Well it's such an experience to be here. After you get used to the mad house that is the metro (let people off before you get on -- what's that!) and the beauty that is Peseros which are like death-sheds on wheels!. Apparently alot of people live here (like 20 million) so it's pretty standard to be squashed wherever you are! But whatever, this is what makes mexico city what it is!

So I went to Xochimilco (pronounced Soshimilco) which is like D.F.s own little venice. It's nice cos you can hire out a boat and eat food. We had loads of nice mexican quizine and booze which included something called Pulque (kinda like a creamy substance that resembles white goo). Has to be tried! Also we met some fellow rowers and got on board their barge and danced the night away!

To introduce myself into D.F. properly, I threw a housewarming party which was cool. All teachers were there and I made a very sour vodka jelly which turned out to be the hit of the night. P.s. Never play cards when drunk and never dance!

Since then I've been hanging out in the City and tonight possibly going Mexican Wrestling (yeah it's like WWF but much more bizzare). Wait for the pics.

Cheerio peeps,
Amit
