Well I've been here in Playa for a good two weeks and it's been quite an eventful two weeks at that. The course I'm undertaking takes up a bit of my valuable time but it's well worth it and I really like teaching and the students are very cool characters. Basically we teach every other day but we have school from 11 till 9 so we don't get to party much in thr week days, but the weekends are cool.

Last weekend, Loiuse, Lisa, Max, Chris and I went to a place called Tulum. It's a nice Mayan village about 1 hr south of Playa. I expereinced my very first Collectivo trip - it's like a minibus made for 12 people, except the driver just piles on as many as he can (Indian style!). We went to the beach which was gorgeous and I just hung out on the lilo and made silly waves in the sea. It started to rain though and I was totally hung over from the night before that we just relaxed and ate at nice resto near the beach.

At Tulum we saw the old temples and villages of the Mayans and it was really cool cos it reminded me of Athens and there weren't many tourists which is always a pleasure. Anyhow I'll let the photos do the rest of the talking.
