Got compensation for lost backpack

My backpack got lost on the return flight to Spain, via London Heathrow, be aware that loads of bags get lost at Heathrow so try to travel light and carry everything on board, anyway after two months BA has admitted they can't find it and so they have compensated me generously, I've got 800 quid, so not bad, might use it for another trip next December also I'll make sure I keep all my luggage with me, it's been quite a sad ending to a great holiday as I lost all the souvenirs and memories from the trip, still I can't complain as 800 pounds is a great amount.
