I have finally made it and am in Hollywood! Of course I am staying the finest hotel - the Student Inn International - don't know if you've heard of it!! Its across the road from the kodak theatres - where they hold the Oscars. Apparently thats the only time the stars come to "Hollywood downtown" and the rest of the time they are in Santa Monica or somewhere.

Great city though and FABULOUS shopping - not that I have done any mind as I have just been wandering staring in the windows!

Went to Santa Monica and Venice beach didn't see any stars but the weather was lovely so had a nice walk (ie I got lost). Finally found the bus stop and headed back to the hostel.

Am now on my way to Panama for some central american action pre-Chile.
