After a restful sleep we headed toward County Galway. The trip went fast due to the new and improved highway system. Then we ventured off the main roads and headed into the Burren in search of the Poulnabrone dolmen. The Burren region is often described as like being on the surface of the moon. This is no understatement . We stopped in Ballyvaughn for lunch at Logues Lodge. Good food and a very charming atmosphere. The roads in this region are very narrow and winding. We had a few near misses with passing tour busses. Next we drove to the Cliffs of Mohr. It was just breathtaking. We took in the sunset at Doolin Pier and later dined at O'Connor's Pub in Fisherstreet Village. Oh, and JohnJohn-We caught a leprechaun at the Cliff's just for you! Miss you but try to carry on a few more days. Love Mommy oxox
