Left early this morning to drive to Cambria midway between LA and San Francisco.
Short detour via Torrance to see the high school where they shot Buffy (yes.. I'm THAT much of a geek!)
Driving up the coast was spectacular. Stopped off at Venice Beach (weird pretty much sums that up), Santa Monica for a visit to the pier,and then lunch at Bubba Gump, Santa Barbara and Laguna.
Arrived at our hotel at about 8.30 this evening.. very nice hotel, fireplace and all. Had dinner at a restaurant called the Sea Chest next door, and am now about to fall asleep!
