Khotala Bay

We left Kerry's Bloody Bay and even though it was early it was already blowing 25kts but Serifos is only 16nm to the north and we need to keep moving north and west to get away from the meltemi.

Went to a large bay on the south side of Serifos and anchored off a magnificent golden beach. Abandoned copper mines stood out on the hillsides and possibly gave the water a beautiful turquoise colour.

Had the bay all to ourselves most of the day but shared it that night with about 20 boats. Obviously the place to shelter.
