I arrived in Auckland at 8pm.
Found a big hostel.
Had a walk around.
Went to sleep.
Got up.
Didnīt climb the Sky Tower, too expensive.
Saw a giant Santa Claus on the side of a shop, is it Christmas time?
Looked at the Harbour, Sydney has nothing to fear.
Bought a guide book to south america.
Caught bus to airport.
Jumped on a plane.
Really, thatīs all I did in the few hours of Aukland. Itīs just another bland big city. Ainīt nothing special. Now Iīm just looking forward to South America, I really canīt wait.
I really did enjoy my time in New Zealand, but mostly for the outdoor stuff that you can get up to. It doesnīt have particularly great cities, nothing like Europe or Asia, I guess itīs mainly down to the age of the place. Also the culture is rather similar to the UKīs, therefore there isnīt really that many differences that get you excited. Cultural differences is something that I expect to hit big time once I get to South America.
