Hi everyone(except Lizzie)
This is the first Travelog we shall be writing, and I tell you, it's exciting. Yes, that's right, this is the obligatory pre-trip spiel. But you can't escape it, hahahah. I would like to welcome everyone to the site: family, friends, the more intelligent monkeys, and to hope that you don't judge us too harshly during the next month. Remember, judgement is reserved for God alone, if he existed, and this log is written with the express purpose of embaressing our children, who will possibly bear pretensions of coolness, when they come to write their gap year blogs. I am told we have a wierdly warped sense of humour, and I'm afraid you may simply have to endure this or find much more interesting blogs. But we are excited, and can barely believe it ourselves. This is our first foray alone into the real world. No doubt we will learn loads, meet some really great people and see things we never dreamed of, and whilst this is not the REAL gap year, you just know we're going to have fun or die trying. Onwards, to Prague, I say!
Kindest regards,
Richard Elliott, (and Eleanor Craddock in absentium)
