Holà, Hello, Hallo, etc to everyone!

Lot's of things have happened since the last entry. Where shall I start?
Tom, Chen and I went to San Pedro Prison in La Paz (Thanks to corruption we were still allowed in, It's not officiallz open to tourism). Apparently, the purest coke of Bolivia is made in San Pedro prison... The tour was fun (not going into too much detail) but a bit scary (this was the first time I had visited a proper prison). We went out afterwards and I had to get to the airport in La Paz at 4.30 to get a flight to Miami. La Paz airport is tiny. They have one (!) shop in the duty free zone...

Getting to Miami, I discovered that the city isn't as good as everyone says. "You'll love South Beach!". Yeah right. South Beach (apparently the faniciest district in Miami Beach) was good, but not as good as everyone kept saying. I stayed at South Beach hostel, an absolute disappointment. Probably the worst hostel I've stayed in ever... (We're in the fabolous USA, remember?)
And it was 25 USD a night (paid 8 USD a night in La Paz, which was waaaaay better)
The stay itself though was fun in Miami, even though I preferred South America better.

A few days later I caught the plane to Heathrow (London) and just (this was the first time I ran through Terminal 3 and 5. Heathrow is big...) made it to bording to Zurich. But, which I expected, when I arrived in Zurich, BA wasn't quick enough and my luggage was still in London. I had it delivered the day after though.

So, I'm back home, which feels good, but also a bit strange since being away for a long time and not having a constant home.

I want to thank everyone who reads this I met in South America, I had a great time there with you and don't want to miss it!
Back to reality now. Thanks for everyone who visited this page every now and then. Hope the stories weren't too boring...

The curtain closes (at least for this trip)

Patrick
