Yes, we did get those views on our 2010 trip. On this visit there was NO VIEW at Arthur's Seat, thanks to dense fog and continuous light drizzle. Nonetheless it was an experience in its own right.
Connaught Peak is the second highest point in Mahabaleshwar. Very few people go there especially in off season. To get to the peak you have to climb up stone steps in the forest. As you emerge into the light you are greeted - in September - with a riot of yellow daisies any which way you care to look!
The photos of Connaught Peak are from two trips this September 2010 with a two week gap. We did not return to Arthur's Peak.
