I noticed a beautiful mature, tall Cannon Ball tree - Couroupita Guianensis - on this visit.  What was striking was that the entire length of the trunk was covered in what appeared to be a million living "cannon balls" but without a single flower.

Saraca Asoca was also in bloom along with a solitary flower on Gustavia Augusta and a few other shrubs and trees.
