The visa and passport made it home yesterday. Only a few things left to pack and several things that can be left behind. This will be as green a trip as possible, from my 3 day bus pass to my choice of food. I started a tradition 10 years ago, during a trip to Africa, to try at least one new food in each place.
Food fact...it's all a state of mind, don't think about anything and what you eat
won't bother you, unless it happens to crawl around before you chew.
Food myth...not everything tastes like chicken, or beef for that matter!
So, with that said, two foods have been suggested. You'll find out what they are the first few days of the trip. I am open for more suggestions. Just don't tell me what they are made of.

new foods
Hey Imfree be sure and try some haggis and a good single malt scotch.
Ireland not Scotland
I'm in Ireland, the home of Guinness, Jameson, coddle and stew.
You're thinking of Scotland.
