I have to sniffle a little as I write this entry. Today I moved out of my apartment. Without much warning, the landlord decided that he wasn't going to renew our lease. Since I've only got one more month of work left, it doesn't make much sense for me to sign a new lease somewhere else.

Instead, my friend Damian, who also lives in TianMu, has agreed to let me crash on his couch for the month of February. It's a short month, and the whole country gets a week off for Chinese New Year, so it won't be much of an inconvenience for him.

Interestingly enough, Damian is Sarah's (my original roommate's) boyfriend. I started my year in Taiwan living with her and ended it living with him. Funny how life comes full circle sometimes.
