Where I stayed
Rinchen Ling Lodge
Paro is just about as touristy a place as it gets. The claim to fame of this wonderful land is the Tiger's Nest.
By the time we reached Paro we had had our fill of monasteries and monks and scenic beauty.
Frankly all we wanted was now to get away from the world into some peace and quiet and inactivity.
Rinchen Lin Lodge turned out to be a quiet and charming place with absolutely nothing to do but read books, play cards and eat.
So we enjoyed doing absolutely nothing and soaked in the pinewood finish ambience, the books and the view.
The laziest days I remember were perhaps spent here. Loved it.
