More photos! here are friends we met in Zimbabwe, 23 years ago... Mary and Kevin were teaching in the same school as us and Rene was the doctor who helped me deliver Tristan... more memories, more good food, more laughs...I think we are gaining even more weight by just being in Europe!!

Mary and Kevin made me use my lazy muscles (biking, rock climbing, walking, kayaking, swimming...) and Rene and Gabrielle arranged walks through deserted woods and in the dark to find this isolated farm where we had an excellent entrecote or a boat ride where some of us swam in the darkness, transported with the current of the local river...We visited Luzern together, beautiful city, lovely center full of young people.

And so I think: we are so lucky! Friends are like bits of thread sewing the pieces of my life together to create a unique patchwork which I cherish even more when times get hard. I am proud to keep contact with as many as would have me. Is this English??? Hum..
