Where I stayed
Mcmillan Gardens Furnished
I walked past the airport and thought back to what caused me to be here. What caused this trip was an article in a garbage can. I glance at it and it said "Free Ride To The Land Down Under And More Coutries As Well Mate". I looked up and there was a hotel not far from the airport. Mcmillan Gardens Furnished offered a private balcony or courtyard. McMillan Gardens Furnished is a 10 minute drive from Canberra’s major shopping centers and Parliament House. It is a 12-minute drive from the National Museum of Australia. It has air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and DVD player. I loved this place. I walk outside and it's about 70 degrees during day, 50 during night. Right now it's about 10 pm so I guess it's around 5 am over there figuring there's a 17 hr time difference between us.Time to go I'm going to bed. G'day again that means hello in Aussie the language here. I visited the zoo and what do you know, I found interesting critters. I mean look at the tree kangaroo a kangaroo that specifically lives in trees. There's pictures at the bottom. Then I went to a barbie or barbeque. I noticed someone playing an aboriganal instrument so I asked what it was called. The instrument was called a Didgeridoo (did-gir-i-doo). I also tried a vegemite which is a salty sandwich. I liked it but most non-australians don't. After 6 hours the school let out, back there school's about 7-9 hours if I'm correct. I decided to leave for a second to go to the outback and I saw so many kritters. Pictures are at the bottom. Some were caught with underwater cameras I borrowed from somebody. Well that's all folks tune in for my next stop.
