So, we rode the bus to Natal, and low and behold the ride was.........glorious. It was the nicest bus I'd ever ridden on. They gave us food, drinks, blankets, all the luxuries we had been longing for on the other buses and more. I guess you could say Aaron was our lucky charm. Any who, we arrived in Natal and found a good cheap hotel right off the beach and went for a dip in the ocean. This was Aaron´s first "Brazilian beach". It was beautiful, there were sand dunes and mountains in every direction. The beach was clean, we were happy. One thing was wrong however, or maybe it was right but.... Aaron did not have a speedo, had never had one in fact and we had gotten soooo used to our boys wearing them, that we insisted that he be a real Brazilian and get one. Well, he did. It was a great day for Aaron´s swim suit liberty, and a sad day for man kind, but I treasure the fact that for the rest of my life, I can hold these pictures as colateral over his head. While in Natal, we went on a dune buggey ride, with Wendell the old crazy driver through the dunes and beaches in the area. We went to something like 10 beaches, drank a drink straight from a pineapple or abacaxi (my favorite), saw camels and donkeys, zip lined into a lake, and nearly peed ourselves from fright on the dunes. Wendell was a nut, and to top off the day, he decided to race a car on the regular road as we rode off into the sunset. This was one of my favorite days in Brasil, two of my favorite people, beautiful places, and fun!!!
