More Spring Skiing in Chamonix

At the end of the week, my brother Neil and another college buddy, Nigel, were coming out to Chamonix as well and we were going to do a 5 day ski tour across the Alps. This tour was going to be hard so Mike and I just skied a few hours most days in an effort to rest up.
Mike and I hit up an outdoor bar in Chamonix one afternoon. When we were sitting outside some random, and annoying, old guy came over from another table, asked us the time and then sat down at our table and wouldn't leave... He said he played in a piano bar in town, he'd been doing it for years, then continued on with a bunch of far fetched stories about him skiing with the French Olympic team and other totally unrealistic claims.
After a few minutes I realised that I recognised him from some where, I was thinking he was one of the piano players from a bar I worked at in St Anton, Austria back in 2000. I asked him about the St Anton, the bar and the crazy alcoholic owner of the bar and he remembered it all - it was him. Small world!
