It is our sad duty to announce that the proposed Tibetan blog entry has failed to gain approval by the Official Censorship Committee.
(It's a bit of a shame, as most of it was quite interesting and informative - certainly more so than most of them have been - although some of the one-liners were particularly weak. Like asking whether the small hill called "Parma Ri" was where they used to keep the palms.)
But overall, there was far too much enthusiasm and respect for Tibetan culture and architecture, most notably the Potala, hence the committee's decision.
Yours, with regret,
The Management,
People's Republic of China.
P.S. Thanks to the many who tipped us off about the need to keep an eye on him for subversive behaviour. He's heading back to the border over the next five days, so our job should soon be getting easier again.
