not totally aimless were my wanderings,i did have a plan to walk to osaka castle, it cant be that far.Well it was but i got side tracked anyways by one of tennoji's slopes beconing -"walk up here" it said and at the top i was rewarded with a beautifull shrine . It had tori gates and foxes and a contankerous droopy eared cat.the workmanship that went into the wooden construction was amazing and two carved wooden gardians.i dont know what this temle was called.next door to this temple was the most outlandish palace of a love hotel and around the corner a bit their was this huge temple garden shrine wedding function complex, that was also nice to spend time in.
so onto next day i came across a produce market in nippombashi and found some mochi balls and more aimless wandering and next day i caught the tram to sumyoshi taisha, one of japans oldest shrines.the tram journey out was an experience. The same level of poverty as nishinari seems to extend this far.i forgot that there were two tram lines going back so ended up on the tennoji tram.the east has less poverty or this was what i observed.
