Where I stayed
Cruised over to Nashville to go to the Grand Ole Opry.
Interesting evening. The Grand Ole Opry produces 3 live radio shows per week, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday - this was one of them. Because it's live radio we hear all the commercials.
They put on 4 half hour shows in the evening, each has a presenter who performs with 2 guests so we saw 12 acts. They had commercials between each act.
The only acts we had knew were Riders in the Sky, Pam Tillis and Montgomery Gentry, Montgomery Gentry were great, we'd like to go to one of their concerts.
One of the hosts was Jim Ed Brown, a member of The Browns with his sisters. They had a hit with Three Bells back in 1959 - some trivia!
A fun and interesting evening.
The photos aren't very good. I only had a Sureshot. If I'd known we could take photos during the performance I would have taken a camera with a telephoto lens.
